Another delusional eBay seller

EBay- Gotta Love It!! God Bless him, can't wait to see what he actually gets for this little gem... it's on my watch list!

 

The fiberglass in the grooves should help the stylus on my turntable track the precious music on this disc more accurately.

 

if anything, it will insulate it from heat and warpage.

 

I considered buying it but it's a used LP and I'd feel guilty that Mr. Vinton wouldn't collect any royalties from the sale.

 

I asked the seller what the shipping costs to Timbuktu were.

 

I asked him:

Have you play tested it, and on what type of turntable (Cartridge, Etc)? I'm concerned that some fiberglass may be imbedded in the grooves causing audible anamolies.

I don't have a turntable, so I have no way of playing this record, but it looks like it's in near mint shape to me!

 

That avoids ringwear on the cover. Good move.

If so, it's no cheap joke. Imagine what the listing fee is for such a high minimum bid.

 

Go ahead and laugh, but where else are you gonna get a pool table delivered by UPS for only $16.92.

Actually, that album is less valuable, because it still has the cover. It's probably still woth $5,000.00, though.

Dude, the initial listing stated that "It has no dust cover that the record fits in." I think he's yanking your chain here.

 

In all fairness, the seller has provided a lovely history of ABC records...

You could say that it looks like it was in an attic without a cover for 30 years.
