Really? Wow I did not know that, perhaps I should look for that one as I really like the album. Does the Japan use the Pearce remaster as well?

Man, I really liked Persistence Of Time when it came out. As a whole album, I think it hangs together really well.

PoT is my fav anthrax album, that 2 LP reissue they did a while back was fantastic. Euphoria is probably weaker but it's still a good fun album I always listened to all the way through. I still just listen and prefer all the original cd masterings though as far as anything digital.

Jeez $45 for colored 2lp... Should be $30 tops black $25..

  7. The regular black edition is $23.98, the red/yellow vinyl is $44.98. Not sure I want the red/yellow vinyl that bad, especially for almost twice the price.

Completely agree. CD purchase for me. I might track down an original record on eBay as well.

I've still got my cassette tape, lol! Gonna take it out and headbang a bit when I get home tonight, lol. Lots of memories with this album. Really can't wait for this. Definitely gonna buy the red/yellow 2lp for sure!

    I only have Aftershock.

That is the best one, IMO. The SHM is a close second, while the Deluxe is garbage--for completests only (like me).

I thought it sounded great, especially compared to the original. I wonder how it sounds on original vinyl?

Got them. $6 each. These sound great. This find makes my inability to track down Maiden and Priest originals sting a bit less haha.

This era of Anthrax was pretty influential in fashion and vibe to the hardcore communities, especially the bandana thrash and powerviolence scenes.

Great find, and oh do I know your pain for Maiden and Priest originals. I finally have all the Maiden's, even found a mint 1st UK version of Eddie's Archive which I adore, some great material in that box. I can say that original Priest CD's sound awesome. Again check Amazon Canada every week as there are 3rd party sellers selling original CD's for great prices.

STATE sounds horrible on every original CD I think.

I don't find the original is all that bad, but if you want to look at it that way, it's certainly better than the remaster I think. I have zero issue with it. I crank it and rock out, don't think too much about it.

I heavily reEQed that thing for my private archives. I find the original CD very thin and weak...it's all in the mastering and with another EQ, it sounds great !!! Andy Pearce did a good job (as usual), but there is much more potential to improve that one...

  23. The Hud

The Hud Breath of the Kingdom, Tears of the Wild

I agree. The Aftershock version is the only way to go.

It's good, but far away from perfect I think...
