    Thoughts? Favourite song/performance?
I don't know a lot about her, but this album is brilliant:

She obviously lived in the shadow of her famous mother, Judy Garland,
and battled many of the same demons.
Should we be more courteous and judge her more as her own identity?
Love her explaining her name in this at around 7:10:

Not necessarily to my musical taste as much, but she certainly had talent.
She did sing a couple of songs i liked, but the names are evading me at the moment... probably from Cabaret

Same here, not necessarily my musical taste, but watching her gets under my skin.
I'm a fan, without being a fanatic, if that makes any sense at all....
    Amazing and talented person.

I like her in whatever movies I've seen and her singing, like her mothers', needs no propping from me but the only album of hers I own is the superlative, Pet Shop Boys produced Results released some 30 years ago.

Seeing Liza’s own 35mm print of this back to back with CABARET courtesy of the UCLA Film & Television Archive was an incredible experience

I loved when she covered this Sondheim classic with Pet Shop Boys. In fact I ended up seeing her perform at the Greek in Los Angeles on this or a subsequent tour. I was about 15 or so. I've always had a lot of love in my heart for razzle dazzle and Great American Songbook interpreters. It was a good concert. Decades later I would become a very big Stephen Sondheim fan, and as I was going through video after video learning his catalog I was thrilled to rediscover this performance.

I love her "Results" album - the one she did with Pet Shop Boys. A discogs seller also threw in a free copy of "Live at Carnegie Hall" on vinyl which was a fun listen.

Favorite song? I don't know. How about New York, New York? Also there's 'But The World Goes Round. Maybe This Day is a good one.

I love her esp. in The Sterile Cuckoo. Truly incredible performance.

Cabaret is one of my favorite movies of all-time. Joel Grey is probably the musical star, but Liza Minnelli's singing and acting are also fabulous. If you have never seen it, I highly recommend you watch it at your earliest convenience.

As many have said, not really my style.

But for some reason, I always enjoy listening. Great set of pipes there. Excellent example of big personality in a small package.
