They needed an excuse to have the trios champs in the ring so they could announce the return of the Elite. Beyond that it doesn't make sense. I think they also wanted to have a high profile match to bring Darius Martin back after his long time off. However as someone who has seen AR Fox live at indie shows, I'm glad he got some time to shine. He has been on their YouTube shows a lot lately, but never on TV.
Another reason they need to get ROH TV started. They have too many talented people and need to separate them. AR Fox would be great in ROH.
My daughter works for WWE. She is photographer. She was part history in school way at Monday Nights Raw event. The first all women photography team in WWE history. Even recognized by Stephnie McMahon as a historic and important event. So proud of her. You can check it out on her Instagram page. andreakellawayphotography
yes. i think most of the match outcomes were the right result though not 100% sure i totally agree with the result of the samoa joe match and for sure i'm ready for jericho's title run to end
Yes. He's the hottest guy in the group and you have the built in story of his "contract ending at the end of 2023" and the chase to get the belt off of him before next year ends. I called the finish with Regal giving him the knux. That was a well built story. The only issue is, I'm not sure the fans will want to boo anymore because he's so great at being MJF.
My guess is Jericho drops the ROH title to Adam Cole at Final Battle. He's been doing the challenge to all former champions in ROH, including this week vs former TV champion Ishii. I think Cole comes out and challenges him before Final Battle.
I did. It was a great show. The only bad match was Jade Cargill vs Nyla Rose. AEW always over delivers on PPV.
i still need to get a straight AEW PPV. the only ones i ordered are the ROH ones since AEW bought them
The show last night had 5 really good to great matches... Elite vs Death Triangle Jack Perry vs Luchasaurus Moxley vs MJF Toni Storm vs Jamie Hayter Jericho vs Danielson vs Claudio vs Guevara And three matches that to me were good, but just below that level of those above... Kingston vs Akiyama (which was on the pre-show, and I think you can see on youtube) Joe vs Wardlow vs Hobbs Acclaimed vs Swerve & Keith Lee The rest were average to good, but Jade vs Nyla which was bad because I think Jade got blown up during the match.
The Crockett one from last night was pretty good. The usual exaggerations "we were sold out every night" type stuff in all of them.
I enjoyed the World Class episode. A few stories I never heard before, and getting to see Manning, Garvin, and Brian Adias. Chavo's Dad wrestled there. When they went into the cage match at Reunion, I can't help it, I am there again. Without question the single hottest wrestling crowd I ever saw. The Birds were gone before most people realized what had happened, then all of our attention was on Kerry and Manning and the doctor. They confirmed what I believe that it creased Kerry's skull(probable concussion), Manning's first thought was he was dead. Bammer swung that thing with lethal force and Kerry stuck his head out and TOOK it. Manly and stupid. And it lit the territory on fire.
I remember reading about that in the magazines and when I was 12 or so in 1988 Legends Of World Class started airing every afternoon on ESPN. I think the first episodes they aired were from early 1982 and I was counting down the days until the Christmas 82 episode so I could finally watch it and it didn't disappoint. I thought the World Class episode was too kind to Fritz. I know Kevin was there, but I'm truly not sure why Kevin has such glowing things to say about his dad when his once told him "if you were man enough, you'd have taken yourself out like your brothers."
