The worst thing about Wrestlemania season is the constant staring and pointing at the Wrestlemania sign.
WWE is best when they sprinkle some truth in their storylines. Roman accusing Cody of running away from WWE because of the Stardust character and then running away from AEW because he couldn’t get over was some good stuff.
Cody's response that because of him running away made everyone else in the business more money due to the competition was nice too.
Vinnie Mac's daddy politely blew Andy off. Andy only wrestled officially in Memphis. Lawlers hand is in this I guess.
I don't know. I don't know their taping schedule, but it's likely that the Masked Singer was taped several months ago and probably knocked the season out in a couple of weeks.
OK Too weird. Remember THIS guy? \ Chris Dejoseph AKA B D Johnson Recently was hired as Creative Director of productions for Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA, an extreme far right outfit. I wonder if he put this on his resume?
so the ROH SUPERCARD OF HONOR promo poster for 3/31/23 has Dalton Castle on t but so far no match for him. hmm......
I am admittedly following it from afar, but it feels like no one is coming off well in the Punk/AEW situation. Even Moxley tried to play the "I am not going to talk about it" card, but then went off about it non-stop in a passive-aggressive way (never calling Punk by name, but ripping him to shreds by doing everything but saying his name). While I am sure his return would be good for ratings and the company's bottom line, Punk is a jerk and probably better served not being brought back.
Punk can't just say "I'm unhappy" he has to go "I'm unhappy and I hate this person and this person, and this person did me wrong and Colt Cabana shares a checking account with his mom". It happened when he left WWE and it happened here. I don't blame Moxley in a way because last week Punk brought him into it with his instagram post. AEW got a ton of attention for the Omega vs Vikingo match last Wednesday and Thursday Punk decided that was the time to draw the attention back to him by posting something tearing into Moxley, Jericho and others. It was just a couple of minutes, so I wouldn't say it was "non-stop". Of course all of the wrestling "news" sites take one quote from Moxley where he says something negative about AEW and airs that quote/clip and ignores the other hour of the interview where he does nothing but praise the company.
So "home" to Danielson was returning to the Blackpool Combat Club. The whole Callis/Omega segment, Callis/Page segment with BCC attacking Callis & Page (where it's likely that Callis is managing the BCC, just not known yet), Omega vs Cobb and the post match with Danielson coming back last night was well done. I've seen posts saying it was a Danielson heel turn, he's been a heel for awhile now but people just didn't notice because he was wrestling MJF or Jericho. For over a year he has been coming out of the heel side of the stage.
