Nothing very recent, but I created some compilation albums I would have happily bought if they'd ever been released. 1. The Jam 1975-77 (pre-'In The City' demos) 2. The Jam B-sides 1977-82 3. The Moody Blues - 'Look Out' (1966 Denny Cordell sessions - what would have been their second album with the Denny Laine and Clint Warwick/Rod Clark lineup)

Back in 2013 or so I made a Monkees Mono Comp which opened with Davy doing a commercial for Stereo 8 (from the Birds Bees Box set) which segued seamlessly into Naked Persimmon (from a boot at the time) without any audio tricks.

Thanks a lot for the "super-like"!! Happy you enjoy the design work for this project. Here is its current state. I'm working now on the booklet. I'll keep you informed if you want. All the best, Jean
Please do. There will be many forum readers interested in what you've done here (and future volumes). Again, thanks for sharing. Best Wishes, David
I avoided most of the "greatest hits" choices. Most of Who's Next could have qualified, but I'm just a little worn out on most of the studio tracks. I think the TKAA versions of Baba and WGFA stomp the studio versions, but I was torn between the TKAA WGFA and the Concert for NYC WGFA. What swayed me was the presence of Moonie, otherwise it's a toss up between the two. I don't need another version of Behind Blue Eyes...and I think I'm going to move the TKAA/Kilburn version of My Wife into the Who's Next songs. When it comes to The Who, I could have easily picked every song from every album in order! As it is, it's 5.5 hours long!
"Issues" is the ultimate comp for the band Material Issue currently. The comp of "Boys Makin' Noise" was used as the basis for "Issues" and was expanded upon. In some instances tracks on the BMN comp were upgraded with CD sources for inclusion on "Issues". "Issues" is a fan created comp that was first created in the late 90's and is an ongoing collection to the present. Actually went back and tweaked a track on this.... on the "Under Construction" band demo (which has been greatly upgraded on more recent boots), "Is There Anybody Out There, Part 3" seems to be going into something else at the end, but is cut short by "Comfortably Numb." Turns out - that was correct! It IS transitioning into something else, yet another "ISAOT" variation with an otherwise unused guitar riff. This can be heard on the "Immersion" band demos, stuck on the end of 'Vera'. Some easy editing got it back to its proper spot on my set.
