I'll check with eBay but in the meantime am curious to know whether anyone has had experience in successfully posting feedback after the period for doing so expired.

Reason is I ran into an issue with an order and requested a replacement. By the time the whole ordeal was taken care of perfectly by the seller, I had no ability to post feedback about the seller and this transaction.

In light of how he handled the exchange, I wanted to publicly share with others how he stood behind his products but I don't (currently) have the ability to do so.

I'd try contacting eBay themselves. They may just allow you to in light of your particular situation. Being a positive feedback they may just allow it.

Will be doing that. Was curious to see if anyone's managed to do it before. It isn't a unique situation so thought it might've happened to some here.

Just buy another item from this seller! He will appreciate that the most! ;-)

That's the idea but he doesn't currently have anything of interest. eBay does have a Favorite Sellers section though so I'll be sure to save him in there. :)
