My local dealer just started carrying them and I had a listen to their second highest from the top (the model name escapes me) which retail for a little over 2 large. I was overall impressed with their sound. They had a very nice frequency response and actually appeared to deliver a strong low frequency. I own Thiel 1.5's and thought the sound was close but didn't have the same 3 dimensional soundstage that the Thiels are legendary for. Now mind you, it was very close and perhaps could've been improved with better speaker placement. The speakers were very lively and detailed and I did enjoy them quite a bit. They are very light in weight but appear to be well made. I think they are worth a listen if you have a chance.
A person that I can sometimes stand to be around for a few minutes has the Zireus (I think, not sure on the spelling). He runs them with a 10w tube amp. Sounds very nice playing something like Jazz Samba or Kind of Blue. It leaves you wanting for really high volumes on stuff like Van Halen or Deep Purple.
