I have been enjoying my Solid 111 so much that I took the plunge and decided to upgrade to their Solid Machine.Left my deposit and now just waiting for it to arrive.

Curious if this forum has any other Acoustic Solid fans and especially if anyone has any feedback on the Solid Machine in particular?

    Thanks in advance!

I am also looked into it and could find very little info, on their site or others. I wonder also about their tonearms (213) (or abilities to mount others, longer then 9), etc, etc. Very little info.

Interesting. I wondered if pairing fairly pricey TT with cheap tonearm would work... Apparently in your case it does! I assume you replaced $100 cartridge it comes with.

Just wondering - how is your Solid Machine? What arm and cart you are using it with?

Reading with interest. Acoustic Solid is indeed a brand that seems to get good comments from owners but very little exposure in the press or forums...

It's been a bit of wait for the arrival of my Solid Machine as it was being hand built in Germany to order.I just got word that it has finally arrived at my dealer.I upgraded to the WTB 370 tone arm.

I ordered an Ortofon Cadenza Black cartridge to complete the piece and the arrival of that is expected in the next few days.I should have it up and running in my home some time next week and will come back and let you know my thoughts.Fingers crossed I will be delighted with the sound!

Who is your dealer? I can't find any dealers listed for US. I'd want to see if their Classic Wood can be had with a Jelco 10" arm. Otherwise, they look to be everything I'm looking for in a reference belt-drive table.

Their main emphasis is on the Asian markets: Japan, China, Hong Kong - they're a huge name there. I guess US is not of much interest to them, and I can't blame them.

The big money in audio is not in the US anymore, it's in Asia. We are spoiled and picky, and the market for hi-end gear is fairly saturated here, with all the smartphone/bluetooth being the dominant mode. In Asia, apparently old-school is still very much alive, and growing.

    Interesting, perhaps you are right...
Anyway, I ordered Solid Machine via Canada with cheap arm (looks like reworked Rega 330), with idea to add later on SME or Jelco.

www.soundroom.ca in Vancouver. The manager there has decades of experience, especially with analog. I had a nice chat with him at the 2016 Vancouver Audio Show.

I love Jelco's - have them on three of my five tables. Ideally, would want to have a Jelco 10" on that AS Wood table, if I ever get one.

Acoustic Solid Classic Wood MPX Midi Xtended Version Special Edition,

    WTB-213 Tonearm

    Dynavector DV10X5 MKII Cart

I would say its the best table I have owned, better than my VPI Classic

Finally have my Solid Machine with the WTB-213 tonearm (Ortofon Cadenza Black cartridge) up and running.Had a few hours with her this evening and enjoyed some Breakfast In America(MOFI);Natalie Merchant -Paradise is There followed by a bit of Carpenters Live In Japan...then the entire Japanese pressing of ONJ's Greatest Hits and finally RSD 2019 Lou Reed Ecstasy.

The last album title describes our experience so far.
