i really liked this show I am waiting for more seasons to come. I hate waiting especially if i binged it lol
I know and i think it could go on fo r while just waiting for more I really liked it love the old house
I just looked at a preview for it but didn’t have time to watch it. What is it about? It looked like it is supposed to be a creepy type of show?
Yes, I just watched the 9th episode last night, and have one more to go. It's hugely entertaining, but leave your rational mind in the other room.
Well, it had a Harry Potter vibe but not really lol Watch it I really liked it let me know what you think? It's not deep just fun mysterious!
I’ll give it a try when I get a chance. The mom looked really creepy in her reflection that’s what made it seem less Harry Potter like to me. Thanks.
Binge-watched and quite liked it. Where it let me down was the predictable ending to the first series.
Watched the first 6 episodes over the last 2 nights and been enjoying it. Disappointed, but not surprised, to learn that the house doesn't actually exist.
This show was based on a comic series written by Stephen King’s son who also wrote Nos4a2. The comic is pretty good, but the art is a bit off for a horror series in my opinion, but I think they were going for some teen drama. Interesting concept for sure and the story was pretty original. I tried to watch the show, but it wasn’t for me. Maybe I’ll check it out again.
I watched the first episode and it did nothing for me. With some much else to watch, it dropped off the radar. Maybe I'll try it again. Does the plot pick up? Quickly?
I don't recall the show ever being slow. It's all about the spooky mood along with attractive characters (for me). However, it does get more intense and with more complicated subplots as it goes along. I watched the season 2 premier last weekend, and found it to be almost too busy with various subplots. But, it's still enjoyable.
I watched the 2nd episode of season 2 last night, and what a difference it was over episode 1. The season premiere was overstuffed with gore, action, and many characters. The second episode was a lot calmer and with many deep character moments. The director and cinematographer did a terrific job. Because there wasn't a lot of busy action, they gave us beautiful camera angles and cinematography, with generous use of widescreen lenses.
The plot? The bad guys have no plan and the kids are just slowly discovering the non-plan and making things worse. That continues, slowly and steadily. In season 2, it feels like someone watched The Umbrella Academy and had the idea of making an evil version of Five to pep it up a little bit. It’s a stale show, but I kind of like it anyway.
I think I missed something (no surprise from me!). In the first season, I thought they were in high school. It was posh, but I only remember seeing one big building. In season 2, it's a whole campus with dorms. Are they in college now, but still in the same town?
