Hopefully, this edition will be limited to 1500 or less copies. That way it can sell out quickly and AP can move on to other less travelled roads.

    I'm not buying another Aqualung.

I may buy it too, although I was disappointed with the Classic at the time. I need to pull it out and play it again. I have a hunch none of these UHQR releases are going to be much different than the OOP Classic titles. You see the pattern here, right?

There is no Wilson “remaster”. His remix is a flat transfer, so in essence he “mastered” that in the mix.

I would also recommend Wilson's remix on vinyl. :righton:

I have to disagree, especially after SW remix.

I disagree. I was never a big Tull fan but this is a solid album and the sound is pretty straight forward so there's little that timestamps it to a specific date.

RRRRRight. My point is that you can't blame people for saying remastered when it says mastered by SW on the set.

Look, you are factually correct. But I think most people who are satisfied with Wilson's work don't care about the distinction.

Not aged well? In my opinion it has aged better than the rest of Tull's discography, and holds its own among other classic albums. Very much still relevant in today's culture.

It would surprise me if they venture beyond the Classic catalog. Which I don't mind, but I also hope I'm wrong.

Who going to remaster it or they are going to use a previous remastered mix? Wished they would use our host remaster.

I'd like to see a 45 AP Clarity vinyl or MFSL One-Step 45, CSNY Deja Vu/So Far and Steely Dan - Royal Scam, but no Aja, Gaucho. Maybe some Supertrampbor Little Feat.

Find me an Aqualung fan that wasn’t alive when Aqualung was released. Although I guess that’s probably the target demo for $100+ record releases.

I think it’s a great choice, one of my favorite albums that held up well. I have never heard a double 45 rpm, so I’m in.

Oh course I’ll buy it, like Van Morrison said It’s too late to stop now. Opening it will be another matter. Since I collect Tull and have everything else why stop!
