Why would your flyer be different? It is just as you see in the first post in the thread, and blank on the back.

Exactly, that’s why I’m trying to dispel this notion of early ordering information being included in the Axis boxes. It is simply not true.

yep, looks like the JT has yet to have a pre order option! No sign of it on their site.

I'm really interested in seeing what the price will be for this.

    I seriously doubt it.

    I'm guessing $150.00.

No doubt there is precedent for re-using old metal. But for a super-duper premium product? Seems like a really bad idea this early in the product lifecycle to me.

I bet it's gonna be more than that, they already charge us $100 for one vinyl. Then again they might leave the $100 price in place for all UHQR.

Yes, re-issue the Zeppelin Classic records 45 RPM 4 LP sets individually !!!:shtiphat:

However, I doubt Atlantic records would give authorize this

In general, just how many times will the actual mixed master tapes be allowed to be used by artist / licencing group?

Also consider that the master for Aqualung is likely in the UK. Anderson let SW work on his tapes but I can't see them doing a trip across the Atlantic. My guess is all US reissues have used a US production copy and this will be no different. Not saying a first gen copy won't sound great but I doubt this would qualify as an 'Original Master Recording' if MFSL.

Talking original stereo mix - The Adapted Edition has a new transfer of the original master tape that Steve Hoffman used. It is unknown what caused the glitches on the earlier deluxe set or for sure which tape was used. The only major glitch on the master that was found was the one reported by Steve Hoffman. Warner fixed that glitch.

I'll be sure to ask about the master source closer to release but I would expect this to be from the master.

Then again, I have no issue from a copy tape. These can and are often better as the tape can be run as many times as you like, plus any tape glitches are more easily addressed.

    About $125!

Which would have me sucked in!

So, same price as One Steps with much better packaging?

Looks that way. I was concerned that prices would be too much for importing, bad enough at this price point!

I talked to David with AS today to check status of my Axis order. I'm late to the party and ordered just a few days ago. He told me they are almost finished with 2018 orders and mine should ship within 2-3 weeks, no later than 4 weeks, if that helps anyone.

So, assuming they are not recycling metal parts, who would we want to master this?

Right. The. SW Aqualung is a remix, not a remaster. And he did other remasters.
