Apple Music Question (2018)

They definitely fixed the wrong track issue. I had tons of Dead and Phish that would play the studio version instead whichever live version. They now use audiofingerprinting when they had just been using metadata. Which was insane.

Issues with artwork and album titles are much rare but I still see them. Last week it confused The Promise with Darkness in the Edge of Town and then decided certain tracks on Darkness should be from a Greatest Hits collection. It was weird. (I had just recently added The Promise, and I've definitely never had a Greatest Hits comp.)

I use, and adore, iTunes match. Which is why I use Spotify for my streaming needs.

 

I’m an Apple guy but iTunes has sucked forever. Ripped all of my cd’s and just use something different. Shanling M0 works great. I have spent too much time dealing with dups or just random iTunes ********, to wreck my carefully curated music library.
