There ' s a video up thread of Yoko screeching and another of Linda McCartney warbling .
If you play them at the same time they suprisingly complement each other.

Hi ! I have some great news ! Today on Instagram, John Lennon's Account posted a picture of the Instant Karma single, and it also says: "Look out for a brand new limited edition 2020 ultimate remix (from original multitracks) vinyl release for #RecordStoreDay on 18 April 2020". You know what that means ???

It means that there will be a "2020 ultimate remix (from original multitracks) vinyl release" of "Instant Karma".

    Next question, please... ;)

That’s very good news indeed! Bodes very well for an ultimate remix of Plastic Ono Band!

yea most likely a RSD Instant Karma single, but if they are using the “Ultimate” branding, hopefully it is a teaser for more things later in the year.
I will be on the lookout for any text on the label that reads “From the forthcoming John Lennon Plastic Ono Band Ultimate edition” :D

Spare me. There's been more posts on this thread crapping on Linda McCartney who is completely irrelevant to the discussion about John, Yoko, and Plastic Ono Band. Not sure why that's people's "go to" as opposed to defending Yoko. Add to it that you're doing it to someone who is no longer with us adds a classy element too.

Maybe a remixed Plastic Ono Band box set to celebrate the 1969-1970 era of J&Y?

    CD1 - LENNON/POB (new mix)
    CD2 - ONO/POB (new mix)
CD3 - The Singles (new mixes for Give Peace A Chance, Remember Love, Cold Turkey, Don’t Worry Kyoko, Instant Karma, Who Has Seen The Wind, Mother - single edit, Why)
CD4 - Demos and Session Outtakes
CD5 - Live in Toronto (new mix)
BR - Hi-res audio, "making of" film, original promo films

To me POB deserves a box just like All Things Must Pass and like Let it Be appears to be getting.

A nice "mini box" called "Ringo 1970" with both Sentimental Journey and Beaucoups of Blues would be nice too!

We already know that Macca guy has a Flaming Pie box for July and possibly London Town/Back to The Egg at the end of the year!

Not a box, but an oven-sized storage receptacle.

If there are any instrumental jams or album outtakes of John, Ringo and Klaus while recording Yoko's tracks, those would be essential to include in this. A better mix/mastering of the acoustic "Cold Turkey" demo (that was on the OOP Acoustic album) would be welcome as well.

It means that it essentially defeats the original intention of the track(the "instant" part), but it is what it is.

This along with the Macca reissue (not archive) I am guessing is the "first part" of the sandwich........

Maybe the Instant Karma anniversary reissue will be the first part of a very expensive 50th anniversary with a Plastic Ono Band box as the other end issued in December of this year?

TWO separate things: Lennon POB and Yoko POB

I would not like to spend more money in vain. I would never touch, let alone play it, the Yoko disc

The singles could be added at the end of the Lennon POB. After all, it's a 40 minute album.

While pairing them together would be predictable, the precedent isn't there since they didn't do the same for Imagine/Fly in the last box.
