Well - his birth name is "Sean Taro Ono Lennon" - but he's said he prefers Sean Ono Lennon.

That Sean Yoko Lennon is a strange misprint... funny how adamant the article is about it. Search and Replace is not your friend, apparently. :)

    Cheers,
    Paul

Are there recording details in this book? Which days they recorded which song, what they jammed on, etc?

I think so. I called Amazon and they refunded me $10 off my original price of $45. Thanks for the heads-up!

You're welcome. I saw the book costing $50 and then $45, so I decided to wait.

It's still $34.95, so perhaps others checking this thread get a $10 refund as well, if they ask for it.

Oh wow, looks like this could be even more extensive than the Imagine Ultimate Collrction. Bring it ON!

With All Things Must Pass reissue also now confirmed for early next year and being worked on by the same person (Paul Hicks), this could be a bumper Q1 next year!

I was thinking the same. Then I remembered that all the cd tracks were also on the Blu-rays so it may or may not be lol. If it’s the same , I’m good with it

That’s true, it’s says 159 new mixes and so I am guessing they are counting stereo and surround ones separately. So the album itself would be 22 new mixes.

It could likely include the Give Peace A Chance and Cold Turkey singles. They could also possibly threw in the Toronto stuff and Yoko’s album. That’s 32 potential new mixes.

That still 105 mixes for demos, outtakes, raw studio mixes and the like. I think it’s going to be awesome!

Thanks and could they make it any smaller? It’s like an afterthought.

I don’t see it as an afterthought, quite the opposite. We’re getting an announcement of the announcement of the release, that’s pretty ballin’!

Ten years ago, Sean and Yoko toured as The Plastic Ono Band, they didn't play many shows - but the one I saw was incredible.
My guests that night were Lady Gaga, Thurston Moore, Carrie Fisher - I know Clapton and (I believe) Paul Simon appeared during East Coast gigs.
I would love a recording from this iteration from POB someday too.

It’s kinda emulating the “if you want it” footnote to “war is over”

Yeah I saw the show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with Clapton and Bette Midler as guests. Fun show even for the non Yoko fans like my buddy who tagged along. The gig poster was cool too, if I had any more space I would frame it and put it up somewhere.

Nice. A bit more definitive then the news from the Harrison camp regarding the ATMP set, but so far this thanksgiving is turning out to be quite the news day for fab fans.

The type mentioning 159 mixes was so small. You think it would be more prominent.

Okay that's something I definitely missed out. When was this confirmed?
