Are you on discogs? what's the collection worth?

Nice idea but far too much work, not to mention lots of pot luck values.

 

The work is totally worth it.
I could not tell you how many times I was out and about in a shop and had to check Discogs to see if I already owned an album/specific press.

 

Not sure what I would do without it,All Music sucks next to it ,wish Roon used it instead of all music guide

 

I fortuitously have a great memory of what titles and pressings I have when it comes to visiting record fairs or shops.
I am barely tech savvy to use Discogs in that way and by the time I was done the Mrs and kids might be out the door. (Lol)

 

Sealed as in saving or sealed as in, haven't had time to crack open and give a listen?

 

I may or may not open them, but when I do my listing will be adjusted accordingly.

 

Around 10k but would probably sell for half of that to be honest. I have too many box sets in storage that are just appreciating that I am eager to get rid of. Unfortunalty cant access it for another 2 years

Whenever I go on discogs, all I get are intrusive ads that don't seem safe. Haven't spent much time there.

Strange. In 10 years, never seen a single ad. Ever. There's a discogs "spotlight" promoting albums but you can "X" out of that.

 

Word. 1/24/04 was my join date. The old groups was my social media. It was awesome. They didn’t even have a functioning marketplace.

 

The groups are still there on my profile page. Top of the list: 'I Hate...Uh, Who Again?' *****fest. I can't think what that was about.
