Artists you only love only one song by and not much else?

it's kind of like they have a song, which is "necessary" and loved, yet you have actually listened for it, and can't find that quality in any other material of theirs. so far... (don't be shy. you can always find something and change your mind.)

i'll leave it at those. I'll leave it up to peoples preference to say what the tunes are. if people do I will too.

 

The only song I like by KISS is Hard Luck Woman

 

welcome comrade. we must have the same birthday. it's the only one i liked too. I suspect my list will grow. (later I recognized bits of it in the intro to the replacements unsatisfied.)

I love "Free for All" by the Nuge, but hate everything else he's done.

And "Wicked Game" is the only song by Chris Isaac that I like.

 

I love Brilliant Disguise and Tunnel of Love by Springsteen. That’s about it.

 

"Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers

This songs seems very uncharacteristic of the band, based on the other material I've heard. I'd take a wild uneducated guess that hardcore fans of the band might even hate it. What say ye, Pepper Heads?

 

Mariah Carey..."Anytime You Need A Friend"...album/single version and that epic 10-minute C+C remix.

 

John Fahey has to be one of the most random artists to only like one of their songs.

"Pump Up the Volume" is the only song by M|A|R|R|S that I like.

(Actually I don't mind Anitina either).

 

i've listened to lots of fahey and looking for something, just out of reputation, and it was always like great background that never stood out. but i saw him doing a song in a documentary that really stood out, called "sunny side of the ocean."

 

i'll give it a spin. i love regret myself

 

The only people who don't like "Elegia" are the ones who haven't heard it yet.
