I guess according to my friends I'm supposed to like Kiss.
Not even a blip on my radar.
Not then, not now, not ever.

Another vote for Bruce Springsteen....good live act, but on record....NO.
    Nirvana......just an awful noise.
David Bowie......Don`t get the `Hero` (pun intended), worship......`Ziggy` was good, and I quite liked the `Young Americans` period, (I know that that`s his least popular period), but all that Berlin stuff, and `Diamond Dogs/Aladin Sane` is just awful.

    Please don`t hurt me. :hide:

I still for the life of me can't get into the Grateful Dead. I've tried.

I am fairly into rap/hip hop. My heart mostly lies in alternative hip hop like Tribe, De La Soul, The Roots, etc. but I still get the praise and love for Biggie, Nas, 2Pac, Jay-Z, and countless others but I simply cannot get into Eminem. Dre's production is boring. I don't find his lyrics to be clever or engaging on any level.

The Doors. Love their mystique and the poetic darkness but the tunes just don't do it for me.

I agree that no one tells me what I'm supposed to like.

I admit though that in my life I have felt pressured to say, "Yeah, they're cool." Just because I didn't wanna be the odd ball. It's lonely being the odd ball.

Deep Purple, yuck. I have pretended to like that "Smoke on the Water" song. I will say the intro is cool, but the rest, bleck.

Aha...I want them to go away but almost everyone I know likes them.

Seal and that horrid "Kiss From a Rose". Barf-o-rama.

99.9% of music released this century. But then again, literally the only place on this planet that gives me a hard time for not liking it are these forums, so its fairly easy to ignore.

Peer pressure should go away after you reach 30 years of age, at least it should.

99.9% of what I call award show music. The, Beyonce, Adele, Jay Z, all the Hollywood country music, that whole scene does zip for me. Just my personal opinion.

I think I only listen to music that I'm not supposed to be into, so I'm probably OK. But I do have a certificate of exemption.
