At least it's a win for anyone wanting an OTO SE in excellent condition.

 

I have the OTTO SE LINE and cheaper AZ2 Hemp speakers. I believe that the back wall is more important than the sidewalls after experimentation. Although your speakers may be slightly different? I think a book cabinet or something may be a good idea.. A good solid one. My speakers are around 10cm from the back wall and maybe 30 from one sidewall and a door and hall next to the left speaker. Distance from the back wall is critical and I find considerable differences in the speakers 'boominess etc. when not just right ', but as with horn-loaded designs when you get it right with a bit of patience the results are amazing. Certainly speakers for people who like to fine-tune things. The most room dependant speakers I have ever owned and the best sounding ' although when I first placed them I was worried.
