First post! I have an Audio Technica AT-LP1240. I changed the cartridge to an Ortofon. Now I need additional weight for the tonearm. I've searched and can't find anything on the internet.

Can anyone suggest where I can find additional tonearm weights compatible with my Audio Technica?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

If you can't find anything aesthetic, you can super-glue metal washers to the back of the counterweight.

Add some blutack to the counterweight or use Ortofon 2M plug & play version

I also found that the stock AT-LP 1240 counterweight was a tad on the light side, so I managed to find a slightly heavier Technics weight (on Ebay i think) which fits perfectly and a lot better looking too.
