Would it be a budgeting issue, because theres certainly not a lot of shows cometing for the timeslot on pbs.....there a Willie Nelson premire concert show on tonite and in not my local seattle, or any WA state pbs station get this show- it justs seems a little odd. Can someone shed some light?

Rhode Island PBS, Maine Public Broadcasting Network, WGBY, CPTV, and Vermont PBS are the only New England affiliates that are even showing this.

this must be a new development as of 2019. i know for sure that either KCTS or KTBC in Seattle were showing this at 11pm or later on either sat or sun through late dec '18. DVR episodes regularly. i'm going to call KCTS directly on Mon. about it

Unfortunately, my local PBS affiliate shows it whenever they damn well please, it seems. I DVR the show every week and was PO’d to find out there was a Janelle Monae episode a few months back that they chose not to air. Not the first time it has happened, either.

That's probably how it is with my PBS affiliate as well. I emailed them a few months back asking them what happened to a certain show and they said it wasn't carried anymore.

Maybe they just figured Seattle-Tacoma not being much of a musical place... :wtf:

I see Austin City Limits scheduled all the time on AXS TV on Xfinity Cable. Those may be reruns, I'm not sure, but it IS on in Washington, just no longer on PBS. Maybe AXS out bid PBS....

Must be reruns. MTV reruns them also with commercials and only artists in the networks demo.

I wish we had a nation wide PBS. Some PBS channels have great stuff. Ours is not so good

It’s not on PBS here and AXS TV is the only option.

It's shown on a PBS substation here in the Portland area.

PBS is more concerned with running "underwriters" ads (beer and car commercials). Also showing pixellated boobs .:(

So you can watch it without a PBS provider?

If your talking about the recent Willie Nelson performance on 1/26/19, yes the full 1 hour show is available online at the PBS/KLRU website. It does mention, "Expires: 02/25/19". I assume they will remove it at that point.

I haven't checked to see if Austin City Limits is on there, but there's quite a lot of PBS programming available via app.

EDIT: I see that the Willie Nelson episode is on there.
