Is that LP? I don't think there were any remaining when I bought the downloads. I don't usually buy LP's anymore, but I still bring in the occasional disc. I like the wav format downloads from bandcamp, simply burn them to disc. Some even have additional printable files for the complete cover art and booklet.
Yes. 200 copies. I got mine from Soundohm. Beautiful package. Peter kowald - Duos : Europa · America · Japan (3LP Box) - Soundohm
I know some of the musicians he collaborates with but I've never heard him. Damon Smith, Jeb Bishop, Weasel Walter. I see we have 27 mutual fakebook friends.
Blonk is terrific, all over the map stylistically but always entertaining. The best text-sound performer on the planet.
"This is free improvisation from a gleefully pure perspective. All three musicians keep their hands in various forms of jazz/rock/noise/experimental musics and it becomes quite evident through the beautiful racket of this self titled debut. This group isn't about pedigree or posture, the trio relies on communication and ecstatic empathy that comes through loud and clear on this tape.. Sure, with a group boasting two guitarists and a drummer there is a certain amount of volume/noise present, but to call it noise rock, or free rock would belittle the process of Billington/Shippy/Wyche".

First listen of this new release from Corbett vs. Dempsey and I am really digging it. Hearing Arto doing what he does best on guitar, and having a chance to mix it up with the great McPhee, Vandermark and Sudderberg trio has produced a great session. Very highly recommended. Not sure what to make of this. Some tracks are interesting, like Conga, which features a conga drum along with violin, cello, double bass, and saxophone. Some tracks are almost too much. As it says in the booklet, he insists on a "harshness of the work of art." Yeah. One track titled Go, from 1978, has such high-pitched, screaming brass and woodwinds, it sounds like the track overloads with distortion, and makes my teeth hurt. Ouch.
IRREVERSIBLE ENTANGLEMENTS are a Philly/NY/DC free jazz collective. A new album is due but there's a 23 minute single, Homeless/Global that showcases what they are about.
I have their previous album. It's an interesting modern take on the Last Poets. This was their earlier album:
