I love that one... So much material to go through, and it's all interesting. The studio album is excellent too.
Something that was at the bottom of the new stuff pile dug out this morning. Drone guitars and vocals that works. Bread & Wine, by Christopher Alan Durham
Sampling more from Tensegrity quartet with Peter Evans, Agusti Fernandez, Ramon Lopez & Lucas Niggli Evans is at his best here. Stunning stuff from multiple perspectives. These 2 drummers are off the chain.
I loved this release. Not Two stuff is top notch from what I’ve heard so far. Got a couple more from the label coming in my next batch of stuff also.
Not Two has been as good a label for what they do as any other the last 5 to 8 years. The real gold are the box sets. FWIW the box sets are not on streaming services. I’m kinda glad as I have physical copies of all the ones I want and I enjoy the presentation as well as the incredible music and sound quality.

Another great one from the Paul Flaherty/Randy Colbourne machine. These guys have done several lp's together. And they're all great, free jazz at it's best. A word to the wise. Paul's lp's with Colbourne, Chris Corsano, and many other combinations are plentiful and can be had relatively cheaply. Some of them date back to the early 90's. I would suggest if you're a fan of the Brotzmann/Ayler school, that you consider starting picking these up. Most are only available on vinyl(A-OK for me!) but some are on cd as well.
Chris Forsyth - Techno Top: Solar Live Vol. 4, 9.17.19 I love this... Chris Forsyth is one of my favorite guitarists and Daniel Carter is the man.
Finally getting through Discs 7/8 of the Braxton/Chadbourne box. This whole collection is one of the best things I've heard recently. Both men use different variations of the instruments that are their specialties to make mesmerizing music. My favorite is when Braxton is blowing the bari and Chadbourne plucking out banjo notes. Who knew that the combination could sound so good, so right? Kinda like french fries and mayo. Don't knock it until you try it. Seriously, I heartily recommend this collection to anybody who frequents this thread. It's one of those collections that you really can just put on anywhere and simply get lost, or actively listen, and get equal amounts of benefit and joy from.
Doomsday Afternoon x Hijokaidan CD Doomsday Afternoon 「終の昼下がり」 This is great. Currently spinning the Doomsday Afternoon track; will need to figure out how I can play both tracks together at some point...
Cool. Will check out. Still quite possibly my greatest get was quickly grabbing a copy of the LAFMS 13 lp box set (documents their 40 year retrospective that took place in 2012) from Amazon for ninety bucks when they had one of their famous pricing errors. A GREAT set. Both Potts brothers are all over it, and in fine form, as are many other long time LAFMS members.
Les Rallizes Dénudés – Rivista Archives Disc 1: '67-'69 Studio Et Live I can't believe they were doing this in the '60's. Got a huge stack of their stuff in the mail late last week, gonna be working through it for a while.
(slightly off topic - still listening to Les Rallizes Dénudés post-bike-ride - but this is like the only thread on here that'll give a ****) This new book coming out on Vinyl on Demand looks amazing: https://www.vod-records.com/-1-432-675.htm The Clock DVA book looks great as well, but I'm not familiar enough with them to drop the cash and pick up a copy. Of particular interest to me (seeing as I no longer collect vinyl) is this upcoming slate of VoD releases scheduled for early next year; gonna drop some serious cash on all three when they become available (and this also solves me not being that familiar with Clock DVA ): VOD CD09: CLOCK DVA Horology 1-3 Recordings 1977-1980 15 CD Box VOD CD10: MUSLIMGAUZE Chasing the Shadow of Bryn Jones 11 CD Box VOD CD11: S.P.K. The Breadwinner Graham Lambkin & Jason Lescalleet on erstwhile records first third of the trilogy recorded January 2006 & July 2007 maybe the best of the three but both Air Supply & the epic two CD journey, Photographs are also wonderful

Good call on this has anyone grabbed the Hijokaidan US reissues? I have King of Noise. Was wondering specifically about the Tapes LP. I have an OG pressing. But was wondering how that reissue sounds. Didn’t wanna but it just for the liner notes...
