Missed both the cd and vinyl box first time around, and don't want to pay going prices for them now. But have a lot of stuff so it's not really a problem.

 

Didn’t recall there was vinyl, maybe just forgot.

Wouldn't matter. As Steve himself believes, it's all in the mastering. And I'll add the recording to that. Get the right mic and place it well. Plus the CD box has everything they did up to its publication. Did you get the Corbett Vs Dempsey Incipient ICP? Lovely Breuker compositions on the second disc and overall terrific as well.

 

Yup I got the CvD.

I prefer vinyl but will get the cd when necessary. A 50 cd box is a bit much for me, but maybe one day I'll change my mind.

It’s really incredible… I just picked up her more recent album but haven’t given it a proper listen yet.

 

If Daniel Carter is on it, I'm on it. This one is great.

 

Incendiary! In some way Emily's style reminds me of Elisa Ambrogio whose guitar playing blew me off at Six Organs of Admittance's gig back in 2010.

This is excellent... The sound goes from funky and upbeat to deliberate and unsettling, then back again. There's an incredibly catchy hip hop beat to the last track that comes out of nowhere. Awesome!
