Backing up SACDs now possible..

If you can get the files into ISO form, many were simply burning them to DVD-Rs directly as ISOs. That cut out the authoring process. The one nice thing is that many SACD ISO's are available if you look hard enough.

 

How do i convert a SACD ISO to FLAC files using foobar2000? Any links? Cheers.

Note to self: AudioGate creates gaps between the tracks when converting to DSD

 

most digital SACD rips which will be made with this method are not used for backup I disagree I back every thing as disks get scratched hd fail and memory stick go bad

 

According to discogs it's no big loss as the Top Gun SACD is simply a Stereo SACD. No multichannel data or CD layer. If it had been the surround mixes made for the film, it would be worthwhile.
