Please take this talk to the "bitch about walmart thread". This thread isn't for that. It's to talk about a new Bad Company release.

As of 6pm this evening, there are 3 copies remaining at the Walmart in Fallston, Maryland, if anyone's interested.
    New Release end-cap, top row.

I noticed they had another CD tagged as a Walmart Exclusive, for Michael McDonald. "Live from Soundstage", or something like that.

It was explained to me by a compassionate gentle soul that we are take these to the "bitch about Walmart" thread, I didn't know there was such a thing! I would be all over that!
Anyway, I'm sure he'll get to you ... hang tight.

Thanks for the heads up. I was 12th row at this show. It was my first time seeing Bad Co. live and I was very impressed. Hope the dvd lives up to my memories!

Probably changed around the time I stopped reading those Best Buy ads ...

Made official two years ago after bouncing around.

I always say Walmart has a speed test when you apply. If you move too fast they don't hire you. About ten years ago I stood in line with a buggy full of groceries. When I finally get up to it being my turn the cashier puts a little sign up and told me she was going to break. Left the buggy sitting there and left and won't go back.

I just picked this up at my local Walmart. Thanks to the OP for the heads up.

According to setlistfm, this appears to be the entire show from May 15, 2016.
I saw them about a month later on a double bill with Joe Walsh, and they put on a really good show, better than I had expected. So I am happy to have a release documenting this tour.

And that would make the venue, Red Rocks, the natural amphitheater in Colorado.

Edit: Of course remembering the title of the thread would have provided the venue as well....sheesh.

I love me some Bad Co., but the set list is the same ol same ol, with the exception of Crazy Circles.

When you're retired and on a fixed income, check back with us on this.

Checking the track list, I didn't realize Bad company had so many hits. So this show had 3 of the 4 original members plus an additional guitarist?

Well, just got home from Wal Mart. Did they have it? No! Was the staff helpful? Barely.

I could be wrong, but I don't think they've played any non-Rodgers Bad Co songs while Paul's been in the lineup.

Only 2 original members here, Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirk.
Guitar duo is Howard Lesse (Heart) and Rich Robinson (Black Crowes).

Rodgers wouldn't be caught dead singing a non-Rodgers era song. On the other hand, Brian Howe's (Dangerous Age) setlist consists of 90% Rodgers era tunes on his solo tours.

  20. I'd rather have an album of new material.

  21. They might as well call themselves Free (well they weren't more popular). Wonder if an when Mick will be back?

I'd be very surprised (shocked actually) if Ralphs came back. Sadly. I think he had a pretty serious stroke.

Brian Howe came to the Chattanooga area a couple of years ago promoted as "Bad Company" by the people who were putting on this biker fest.

  24. Yes it seems unlikely but Dave Davies was able to recover and is touring again. Saw Ian other night. Great show by the way.

Is it strange that I really liked Free but never connected with Bad Company.
All the right parts were there ... weird.
