A case could be made for many bands. Talking Heads, Television, The Cars, Cream, Blind Faith, The Doors, The Eagles, CCR, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden, the list is endless as are the reasons bands fall apart. Ego's , drugs, personalities, bad mgmt., relevance , etc...

Simon and Garfunkel. I get why Paul needed to make stuff like Graceland on his own, but I’ll never get why he needed to be a solo artist in order to do his first two solo LPs.

If the Beta Band had stayed together, we may not have had the excellent albums from the Aliens unless somehow the rest of the guys convinced Gordon Anderson (aka Lone Pigeon) to rejoin & those albums became Beta Band albums.

Steamhammer. They tried to carry on after their talented young drummer Mick Bradley died of leukemia, but the hammer was never the same and the band would soon run out of steam.

even the band now says that they should have let Godley and Creme do their Consequences album and reconvened, to the best of my knowledge. I still love the first few 10cc albums post G&C. I have also recently discovered that I love the first few G&C albums, including the much maligned Consequences

Any idea why Bow Wow Wow ousted Annabel? I’ve never read of any reason being given. What the F were they thinking?
