Five living members, counting Michael Steele.
I'd love to have both Steele and Annette Zilinksas onstage together with The Bangles, too.

I'd pay good money to see Michael Anthony back in the fold with Roth up front, even with his vocal shortcomings. That's pretty much a "bucket list" thing. But it won't ever happen, and that sucks. I saw them with Sammy in 2004 with Mike in the band, but I gotta hear those early songs with the original group.

  10. That wasn't their fault. I heard it was Phil Collins'!

The Jeff Beck Group with the 5th original drummer Aynsley Dunbar. :)

  17. Jellyfish (that's my A-#1 wish, but I'd settle for an Andy Sturmer album of songs)

John Zorn's Naked City (Zorn, Bill Frisell, Fred Frith, Wayne Horvitz, and Joey Baron)

Van Halen with Roth and Anthony. Although they'd likely tour, I don't really want that. Want new songs.

The Bears: Adrian Belew, Rob Fetters, Chris Arduser, Bob Nyswonger. Would like a little less of the songwriter's collective approach and a little more of the "band in a room working up songs" approach. Their fourth album had some superb songs, but it was probably the weakest of the four. Meanwhile, Belew's latest solo album and Fetters' last solo album are both fantastic.

Gotta get Bun E back with Cheap Trick!

  19. Supertramp will never happen. Too much bad stuff between Roger and Rick.

Genesis obviously is the Holy Grail, but will never happen. Thanks Peter. :realmad:

Screw Pete, get Hackett back with the other 3 (and Chester), and do a Trick of the Tail/Wind and Wuthering complete albums tour, with an hour long encore setlist of pre-1976 classics.

Also would like to see a Supertramp reunion.

David Pack doing a retrospective tour with the rest of Ambrosia.

    A true Flower Kings reunion.

Steven Wilson getting Porcupine Tree back together for a tour.

One more true Roxy Music reunion and get both Eno and Jobson on board, what the heck.

The time has passed for Anderson, Wakeman to get back with Howe, so I'm not going to even bother thinking about it.

Finally would love to see Bill Bruford back drumming with Crimson or Yes, but that ship has sailed too.

I'm taking the liberty of interpreting the thread as "original or best known classic version of the band".

No it wasn't. Page didn't want to rehearse much, I remember reading Plant had some problems, and Phil was kind of thrown in at the last minute anyway. Plus they only played 3-4 songs. How crisp is anything like that that going to sound?

Btw, Phil played his own set and a set with Sting with no issues at all.

I can't believe they still try to blame Phil Collins for this! Just look at the footage: Page was drunk or stoned (probably both) and his guitar was out of tune. Plant had no voice and sounded horrible. They are the only ones to blame and no one else.
