There's going to be a couple of sales at Barnes & Noble starting tomorrow (Friday, July 1st). The Criterion sale is going to begin with all Criterion titles 50% off for the month of July. They are also having their vinyl weekend starting tomorrow too where all vinyl will be 10% off. There are going to be a few Barnes & Noble vinyl exclusives which are soundtracks to tie in with the Criterion sale. The one I've got my eyes on is "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence". Also their Arrow Video 50% off sale is continuing until the middle of July. I've been working hard getting as many Criterion and Arrow titles into the Clackamas, Oregon store as possible - if anybody in the area needs help then please let me know!
ALL vinyl is 10% off this weekend. I'm setting up the sale at my store. The only vinyl which may not be is the 25% off records - I will have to check.
I put in a few titles and one did come up as not on sale, in spite of the online banner which stated "10% off vinyl on thousands of items." Check out Liza Minelli Live In New York, for example.
Most likely 3rd party seller for sure......man up AJ!!.....its only 1o percent which will barely cover sales tax.
Nope. Don't assume. It's a BN exclusive pressing, and in stock at my local store. But yeah, 10% is hardly worth the fraction of the gallon of gas it will take for the roundtrip to the local store.

I'll share my experience while waiting for the OP's reply. The 10% member discount only stacks if the total reduction is less than 50%., e.g. it works with the 10% vinyl sale but not the 50% Criterion sale.
Davers is correct! It will no longer work with any of the 50% off sales but will stack on top of the 10% off vinyl sale. One interesting transaction earlier. The membership did take 10% off "The Girl can't help it" so there is a gremlin in the system somewhere on that title Also if you are signing up for a new membership with a different email you save a further 20% off your first transaction as opposed to the usual 10%.
With regard to coupon stacking, B&N also e-mailed out a 15% coupon for the July 4th weekend. I noticed it didn't stack with any other sales or promos (e.g. the 10% vinyl sale). I purchased a total of six items and the coupon was only applied to a DVD that had no existing discounts.
There's a 30% off CD sale this weekend. Also the vinyl which is regularly 25% off will go to 50% off (this will last for the next few weeks). @Jspmike, what is the size of the music/movie department at your store? One of the stores near me has reduced the section in size to a flea market stall, shrinking selection by half in the process. I’ve noticed similar decreases in other stores I frequent.
My store had a revamp about 4 months ago and they significantly cut the size of the music department. We have a lot less DVD's and CD's but I've fortunately managed to keep the amount of vinyl that we offer. Over half of the Blu-Rays that we have for sale are Criterion titles. The vinyl are actually in open boxes on a table so it's just like going crate digging - very old school - as the vinyl fixtures that were supposed to come six months ago are on backorder.
Interesting to see what the company is doing. Stores in Mass are making plans to close and, looking to relocate to smaller footprints. Since they are owned by the same group as Waterstones, I’m curious as to whether they are viewed as smaller stores as well.
But, if you know a title that you want that's part of the Select 50% off, it can be mailed to you with alittle effort. Find a store that has the LP, then call them and ask them to mail it to you. Free mailing if you are a member. Otherwise, there's a shiping fee. $3 shipping fee? Usually the store will mail it to you. Some stores won't help you. @Jspmike can usually help you.
For those in the Baltimore, MD, area, Barnes & Noble at White Marsh is remodeling and most stock is 25% off (currently excludes DVD/Blu, CDs, and Vinyl... so far). Members get an additional 10% off.
One of our B&N did that. Haven't been to the new location but when I drove by it looks way, way, way smaller than where they were previously.

I stopped by my nearest Barnes & Noble here in Miami a few days ago. The old music department is now being used for some sort of speaking/lecture room. All the remaining music, CDs and records, have been lined up in bins along the walls in the music book section. Lots of new vinyl titles. Not many 50% off. This is all I could find that wasn’t damaged.
