I managed to get a few copies of Hole's "Celebrity Skin" and Alicia Keys "Songs In A Minor" into the store I work at this week. I got for myself the "From Dusk Til Dawn" soundtrack which I was surprised to see listed in the 50% off sale. The highlight though was getting Bruce Springsteen "Hammersmith Odeon, London '75" in the 50% off sale. That's a great show from start to finish!
Long sides on that Hole LP... A favorite though. Do you know the price on that 1? I scored that Bruce Hammer LPs during the 1st B&N 50off sale a few years ago!
The Criterion 50% off sale starts today and runs until the close of day on the 28th. Barnes & Noble also has a 50% off Arrow sale at the moment too.
B&N is having a 10% off vinyl sale this weekend. Does anyone know if they're stacking the additional 10% member discount in store, or if they're adding titles to the 25% off section (and bumping it up to 50%)?
The membership will stack on top of the 10%. The vinyl weekend 10% saving will not work on the 25% sale but the membership will work. There are no new additions to the 25% off sale - if they do the same as the last few years they will bump the 25% to 50% after Christmas. Hope this helps.
For what it's worth, if you purchase a B&N exclusive title during the sale, you also receive a nifty LP-sized tote bag for free. With this sale, grabbed the new B&N colored wax reissue of Nick Lowe's At My Age, limited to 500 copies, for $20 even plus the tote. Can't go wrong with that!
Although I didn't see any advertising, all CDs in my local are currently ringing up at 30% off. I picked up the Beatles Revolver 2-CD, Tom Petty Live at the Fillmore 4-CD, and a handful of other discs for pretty good prices. BTW the most recent 10% coupon (received this week) isn't stacking on top of sale items. The fine print appears to state it can't be combined with any existing discounts or sales, which wasn't always the case unless the item was already highly discounted.

It looks like the vinyl sale is in store only. You can always phone a store that has the records you are after and see if they are willing to take payment over the phone or see if your local store will manifest them from another store if the records are no longer in the warehouse. If you need help tracking something down let me know.

The feature is available but, when clicking on it, a message appears saying that the Buy Online Pick Up feature is unavailable. Perhaps B&N IT team reads these forums?
Nice selection! I’m in the store in Wilton, New York, and they have only nine or 10 albums at half off. All of the hardcover books are half off, including that McCartney book, The Lyrics.
Framingham MA store is closing in late January and relocating across the street to a Petco location in the spring. (My dog won’t be happy when I tell her.) All items are 50% off, but they are not stacking the membership. Still a good chance to purchase some back titles. Music and movies are NOT a part of the sale. Hoping that @Jspmike knows why this would be if similar sales have occurred at other locations.
Games are also 50% off. From what I can tell, the 50% off hard covers, games and select LPs ends tomorrow 12/27.
