There's also the single mixes of "Wake The World", "I Can Hear Music", and "All I Wanna Do" that would be a nice addition.

I believe the 45 of I Can Hear Music is identical to the album version.

Well, yeah, I know that. But if there was anything done with the song, within the Friends period, and unheard, then include it :)
It's also been speculated Brian was tinkering with SMiLE stuff in 1968, also.

What about the 4 Friends songs Brian re-recorded around 1974? He even gave lyrics to "Passing By." It's the wrong year, but it fits with Friends.

I'm less interested in endless mix variations. I want vault stuffs we've never heard before. The best things ars the things we dont even know exist. Busy Doin Nothing sung in Spanish with sax and banjo. Stuff like that.

Refresh my memory. Which songs were those?

Rock and Roll Woman - performed live on the 1969 UK tour, the Brighton Dome version of which was released in part on the video Beach Boys: An American Band.

My Little Red Book is from the Friends sessions as is the Spanish guitar thing. Sessions from the various Friends tracks would be awesome as Brian was back working with session musicians as in the PS/smile days.

that 'American band' clip is the only place that song has ever been heard and no other recording
seems to exist, live or otherwise. strange it hasn't been shown in it's complete form.
    another mystery in BB land.

And the 1969 tour...a great live version of Breakaway.

My Little Red Book is a great song, and Brian still is using that upright piano! I love it!

What Spanish guitar thing? The one often called Indian Wisdom?

Yes, to hear Friends sessions would be swell. And a longer version of Walk On By.

Hopefully there will be a DVD included with this concert included, which has Breakaway as mentioned above

Hold the phone! Are you being a little facetious, or does that really exist?

Pool, I an grateful for your beginning to sort out what belongs with what time period. I have MIC, Hawthorne, EH and most of the rest but my head swims (surfs?) when I try to fit it all together. Just understanding how many different mixes there are scattered among all the official releases leaves me at sea!

Would LOVE a pile of Ol' Man River takes and outtakes. One of the most exquisite and tender things they ever did.

I was at the May 30, 1969 Brighton Dome afternoon show. On announcing their new single - Break Away - they said it was the first time they'd ever played it live. Given that it was the first date of the European tour, it probably was.

You won't want to hear this (and neither do I), but I taped the whole concert. I still have the track list (it's on setlist.com), but have no idea where the tape is...

Just making stuff up. But that sort of thing...things we don't expect, like Denny doing piano demo for "Be With Me" or the long version of "Meant For You". Stuff we don't see coming.

    And "Fig Plucker".
