I may be a real wacko about this - but I really don't like it when Capitol puts their logo on Apple product at the expense of the Apple logo.

I just got the MFSL POB CD, and there is no Apple logo on the thing anywhere. There are Capitol logos on the CD and the jewel box graphics - yet this was originally an Apple release.

It just seems that in almost every former Apple product released in the US since the CD era began, there always seems to be Capitol logos on everything, and only an occasional Apple logo here and there. Even the '91 Apple re-release CDs (Lomax, Taylor, Hopkin) had Capitol logos on them.

Maybe I am just being anal....... :sigh:

Theoretically, there should be an Apple logo on anything issued by the Beatles. This rule doesn't, however, apply to the solo works. That's one reason why you don't see the logo on Paul's solo releases.

My Mind Games CD has an Apple logo. So does my Ringo (non DCC  ). I know McCartney has his own company, MPL, and that logo appears on all of his releases.

Very interesting this Apple logo, or lack there of...My US. Plastic Ono Band has it, my Japan Imagine doesn't, and my UK Mind Games doesn't. Clear as "old black water"

The early CDs of Beatles and Solo Beatles stuff did not have the Apple logo. Then, they added it to the Beatles CDs and some of the solo stuff. However, there ALWAYS is a Capitol logo, even on stuff that was never originally issued on Capitol (but was reissued later)

Hmmm, no Capitol logo's on any of my 3 Jon. Parlaphone/Apple on POB, EMI on Imagine, and Parlaphone on MG.
