    I believe you.
For the life of me , I cannot recall how it goes and have no desire to dig it out and play it.

It pays to have low expectations. Syd Barrerts Rhamadan was always touted as crap and isn’t that bad. Maybe if it was released to accompany some psychedelic footage it would work in context.

    And now, an actual musical note from ‘Carnival of Light’;

If you’re all very good maybe I’ll post another one. Maybe.

When did you stop beating your wife?

    Your premise is flawed.

Free improv was never the Beatles' strong suit. It's better to leave it in the vault so that diehard fans can have one last holy grail to dream about.

For all my earthly Beatles knowledge,
which isn't much, tbh, I never heard
this before .. for all I know this could
be some hoax perpetrated by a
    clever studio engineer

I'm not. It's only "important" much as it's a piece of "the Beatle-puzzle" no one's heard. Not only do I think that vast majority of the "we" will be greatly disappointed, if this thing had been done by anyone else it wouldn't have become half as "mythical".

If it's anything like You Know My Name then I'm not in a rush to hear it.

Many people enjoy You Know My Name. And it is humorous---in my opinion.

I was going to say, if it was anything like YKMN it'd be quite a nice surprise. And yes, it *is* quite humorous....even more so on the true stereo version in Anthology.

All forums are equal but some are more equal than others.

Ark of the Covenant, King Johns crown jewels,
the lost treasure of Flor de la Mar., the sunken
1715 Spanish fleet, the buried treasure on
Coco's Island, the disappeared Nazi Gold Train ..
    every
body loves a good mystery. The thing
is, once a mystery is solved it rarely ever again

holds the same intrigue it did whilst still
unsolved, and so legends of "curses" are then
woven into their accounts to try and
recapture the thrill. I'd be surprised if

    someone hasn't already attempted
    something similar with the Carnival
    of Light so-called legend.
