No, those are the Costco photos, which I got. I meant inside the actual book, as pages.

 

My local Target had the big display as well, and was stocked all with the Target edition! Very cool to see!

But where are people seeing that it says to scan the QR code to see bonus features? All mine says is to scan the code to look inside the book. I don't see anything about bonus features.

Are there Target stores in Canada?

 

I'm going to hit up Target tomorrow. Do you know what the 30% sticker is? Is that 30% off the $42 price?

 

Also: anyone else order the book from Deep Discount? They are still showing it as not in stock/my copy has yet to ship.

 

Is the Target edition the same ? No it has the four cards enclosed at the back , the standard edition doesn’t.

 

Mine had same display and it appeared to be half sold today when I grabbed a copy!

I only ordered from Target because my wife told me they’re fast on delivery and pack their stuff well…wasnt even aware there was a difference.

 

Target don’t ship to the UK, I had to go the eBay route, looking forward to getting it to go with my LP set.

 

Not sure if anyone else has said this yet but the bonus feature is a link to the preview or something of that nature.

No, not the same. The stand-alone book is photos and transcripts from the sessions, while the deluxe edition book is more like various comments and liner notes.

Actually, no, the 30% off sticker clearly states it’s “30% off the cover price” which gets you to $42. Having said that, I understand some people did somehow get it for 30% off the $42 price. But those cases seem to be few in number.

 

Yup. You’re right. I didn’t even look at the receipt. I figured it would be the same price as the Costco version.

I just finished reading the book. Boy, what a reminder of how indecisive they were about what to do!
The fact that they plunged right in to recording Abbey Road when they let this project sit amazes me.

I haven’t pulled out my Let It Be book that came with the album originally, but I was surprised that so much dialogue of what I think I remember from that book isn’t just repeated in this one.

 

Sounds like you’ve answered your own question. My advice: ask for a replacement, and while you wait, enjoy the book itself. Or, return it and go to Target or Costco and get the bonus photos.
