With The Beatles is their first great album IMO but to each their own

I try to be a music lover, not a music hater. There's a lot more to love than there is to hate usually. If I say my least favorite is Sgt. Pepper (and I still have it and like it okay, especially the final track) is that like, okay? I don't mind if someone least likes my favorite album, honestly. :wantsome:

I don't hate any Beatles album in its entirety (YS, excluded). I usually just dislike songs on each of them. I have developed a new appreciation for their post-1964 albums. Before, I would have just said everything after Revolver and left it at that.

The White Album. Again, with some wonderful exceptions. It is, ironically, their darkest album.

Should count Capitol ones? On paper, Something New is a pretty uninspired hodge-podge

My pick is Beatles For Sale, though there are some great tracks on it.

Of course, I rarely reach for anything pre-Revolver nowadays.

That one has two of my all-time fave Beatles songs on it: "Things We Said Today" and "If I Fell." It begins and ends with my fave songs!

well, it might be that they were not in the best state when getting up early to be filmed and do recordings for it (God knows how many hours that would be - actually, someone on here probably knows)
and then - it's all a matter of personal taste, all subjective - but I guess the common belief that some of the songs aren't very good, though I feel one could say that about some of the songs on the White Album and Abbey Road as well. Also when one compares One After 909 from the early versions to the one recorded that wound up on Let It Be, it's like the band can't play rock and roll anymore - at least not as well.
I myself love Two Of Us, Let It Be, Across The Universe and The Long And Winding Road. I also like Get Back some. I've Got A Feeling is pretty good too. I Me Mine and Dig A Pony are okay, I guess.
And it still is probably my least favorite Beatles album.
I wouldn't worry what anybody says. You enjoy what you enjoy.
    This thread is pretty pointless.

Revolver, Beatles For Sale or Yellow Submarine, but I'll go with Beatles For Sale.

Probably Sgt Pepper's. I'm not trying to be controversial; there are songs I love on it. For some reason it's never appealed to me like the rest of them do. Second place would be Please Please Me.
I do think Beatles For Sale was a step back, but I just love it nonetheless
