It's very nice, but I think I'd pass if it weren't priced fairly low. I got a chance to examine it up close in May, and I'd give it a grade of VG (well loved and cared for, but seen better days):

Actually, that sounds like the original (and potentially the re-release) of the Hollywood Bowl album.
Well loved - by all of us fans.
Cared for - well, kept hermetically sealed in a mayonaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's back porch or in Capitol's vault.
Not seen better days, but like the hairlines and heads of the predominant members of this forum...
Missing more than a few of its original contents.

Examining bridges up close and taking pictures of them might garner you unwanted attention in the world of 2016.

My guess on the 4 bonus cuts...

Baby's in Black (from the real love CD)
You Can't Do That - great performance despite bk. vox mic issues
Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby - good version/and a second George performance
I Wanna Be Your Man - good version/and a second Ringo performance

The authorities would only believe you if you fell off the bridge... ;)

One has to wonder why (since they already had his HB performance "in the can") that they didn't use this performance to dub onto Ringo's Shea Stadium performance instead of using the studio cut. They already had the tapes out to dub the Twist and Shout performance.

Slight problem: Ringo sang "Act Naturally" at Shea.

I like how this thread has evolved into a thread about bridges... ;)

    Oh, yeah. I forgot.
On the other hand...as poorly as the visuals match the studio recording, they COULD have dubbed this over the top and it wouldn't have been any worse! :)

  21. I am hoping this is the Threatles long rumored reunion back in '88 with John on tape and the Wilburys backing, really digging to hear 'Free As a Bird' with Jeff Lynne on live click track.

Who is this "Arine" that you speak of? Is that a Dutch word? ;)

So, remind me why The Beatles did not go on Tour in 1970 with Abbey Road??

There were obviously sound systems available then to overcome "screamers", if there were any, at that stage of their career...

I thought for sure that the release of "Baby's in Black" meant Hollywood Bowl was imminent. 20 years later....
