I would say because they were busy breaking up in 1970.

I heard that's the woman that works for a certain Grooven, but I haven't found the proof. He sells 99.7% pure bridge under the table(or under the bridge)

(too much Breaking Bad for me..)

So is the table then under the bridge? Can the table also be used to play bridge?

I'm going to go get an aspirin.

They were in no place to tour in 1969-1970. They were completely falling apart by that point.

To add a half-penny to all this loony speculation, if they were going to release a disc of the best versions of all the songs they did at the HB, wouldn't that still only be about 35 minutes long? I can't imagine them bothering with such a short release.

    Now, where's that confounded bridge...?

Wogblog has updated and said that the Tuesday(tomorrow) release date is actually the announcement date, so hold on to your hats folks.

What's all this "bridge" talk? I thought John and Paul always called them "middle eights"!

I don't get why people anticipate this release so much. Crap sound, rote performance, screaming, no thanks.

I reckon, 18 songs, probably only 45 mins at the most. Lets hear any other bets :)

Depends upon whether they master the album with a speeded up tape (chipmunk ala Real Love) or a slowed down tape or at the correct speed (in which the songs were still played pretty darned fast).

The '65 Hollywood Bowl performances of "I Wanna Be Your Man" will never be officially released since the all-important backing harmony vocals of John and Paul are not extant on the master tapes.

    'Tis sad but true.

George didn't want Yoko to join the band and Paul didn't want Klein to manage the tour. If these two would have given in on these points I am sure a tour could have been arranged, and Klein would have made a lot of money.
