Mystery box set? Not going to speculate or believe anything in this thread. It's obviously an Abbey Road box that is probably coming out this year, judging by the release patterns lately.

More likely: The Beatles: Rock N Roll Music, plus Rock N Roll Music Vol I and Rock N Roll Music Vol II. On CD and vinyl. Total of 8 discs. All artwork faithfully restored. Plus a Giles Martin remix of the Rock N Roll Music vol II album, because John once mentioned doing that when he was alive. Also on both vinyl and CD. So a total of 10 discs.

Plus a commemorative rock, like the one John is rumored to have thrown through a car window when he was a kid. And a commemorative roll of Scotch tape, identical to the rolls that Paul used to seal envelopes while a Beatle.

They're bringing in the David Bowie curation team to help put it all together.

A singles box would probably be the least interesting scenario for me, but I think I'd quite happily buy a US LP box.

 

After Abbey Road there will be another box for Xmas... if there is no change of plans

 

A vinyl US albums box has been a no-brainer for several years now. But like I said above, they'll likely do it with the same masters as used for the CD set.

 

I think it's a collection of live material.

 

Even if the capitol albums uses 2009 remasters?
