possibly...you never know what Apple could think of after all the marketing MPL has been doing...maybe a Yellow Submarine shaped container filled with trinkets and # edition for full effect!

Forgive me for not keeping up with recent Beatles threads, but wouldn't the only reasonable thing (due to news reports of new footage etc..) be a big Let it Be box?

    My guess:
Possibly a DVD/Blu-ray set with the film & unreleased footage.
    LIB Remix CD
Let it Be Naked CD (remixed?)
3 or 4 CD's of outtakes from the sessions

I know it wouldn't make a box set, but I'd like to have an official release of the Star Club recordings, enhanced by some demixing... And why not the complete Decca audition?

It’s the new Deluxe Crayola collection with Yellow Submarine, White Album, Blue Jay Way and so on. A special coloring book with pages based on art by each Beatle and Beatle significant other as well as by Peter Max, The Fool, among others, should be part of the massive crayon box set.

I was also thinking a Yellow Submarine box, a sister to the 2012 Magical Mystery Tour box.

I know this is probably unpopular but I’d LOVE to get a box set of all of the albums remastered from the earliest multitrack remastered or the original vinyl masters both stereo and mono and released at 192/24 or 96/24, and MQA.

There may not be much to work with as far as quality recordings and they’re simpler songs, not as complicated or dynamic as the later albums. But the improvement realized from using modern equipment to sample and produce the digital content would be worth it.

The CDs are tedious listening even the new ones, so a quality hi-res file, rivaling vinyl, would likely make them the toe tapping, spirit lifting music they were from the get-go and still there on my scratched copies.

And, maybe their simplicity would make the reproduction a quicker affair for Mr.Martin?

If indeed the "Other Box" -- not counting the on-again AR50 box -- is some sort of singles collection, I hope they DO remix everything, because it will give us a chance at a couple of new things, like de-mixed "stereo" mixes for "Love Me Do" and "She Loves You" (the amateur attempts are getting better and better) -- and, more exciting for me, a first-ever stereo mix of the original b-side version of "You Know My Name"! Bring it on ... but after AR50, please...

I must admit I never believed for one minute that Abbey Road would be cancelled. That said, thank you to our friend on the other thread for putting people out of their misery.

Now just the live box to pack. Would a guitar case be smaller than a suitcase?
