The way SACD is growing, and the fact that the Stones got into SACD fairly quickly, hold on to your shorts. It might happen sooner than you think....!
Hello to all. I don't think it is in the label's be$t interest to release any sort of definitive issue of artists such as the Beatles. I believe Apple will milk buyers for many more years with products such as the anthologies before attempting to do a definitive reissue on SACD. And it remains to be seen if it is possible to do. It is way more than twenty years ago today when the originals recordings were made. A good pressing in a top analog setup may be better than the original master tape. I don't really need the best recording to enjoy my Beatles. My collector's side does enjoy the search for the ultimate pressing but not for the musical enjoyment. Best regards.
