Bee Gees their greatest hits/the records
    POLYDOR 31445894002.

I bought this 2 CD set last night, great song selection covers their entire carreer

    SOUND QUALITY: LOUD.....LOUD....LOUD....SHRILL....SHRILLL........

why do they record at such a lound volume. I bought a lot of Cd`s
since 1985.....this has got to be the worst sounding ......

My sound system is mellow,I can`t imagine someone listen to this on a budget system.

    Who re-mastered it?

Grant Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me!

I understand people are buying Japanese imports that seem to sound very different from the US versions. The Japanese ones are reported to sound shrill or edgy.

Does anyone know how the Saturday Night Fever remaster sounds? I'm thinking of the one done with Apogee UV22 by Joseph Palmaccino (sp?).

Sounds quite good. Nothing spectacular, though.

The MOFI gold cd of Saturday Night Fever - OST sounds full and natural. Notice the beautiful moog sound on Jive Talkin'...disco sounds great on this release. No surprises just good wholesome (as much as it can be) sound.

Haven't heard the Japanese remasters or recent HDCD release though.

Strange, looks like dual credits....'digital transfers by suha gur' sounds bad, 'mastered by bob ludwig at gateway mastering studios' sounds good.
