I wish this did not have the watermarks on it ... what a great view of what the audience saw in the Adelphi Theater in NYC.
I always thought that Superman looked like he's wearing a big red diaper.
Which thread is that? On this forum?
I'm shocked, shocked do you hear, to find out that Lucy & Ricky didn't actually drive to Hollywood...
Another shot of the Dick Van Dyke Show:
Yes indeed! Thanks for posting.
Bewitched behind the scenes...
Samantha and her favorite Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne)
Little witches and warlocks...a young Maureen McCormick in upper left.
My favorite I Love Lucy episode:
And this seems appropriate this week: a rare shot I've never seen before of Mary Tyler Moore on the set of The Dick Van Dyke Show...
In a recent episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", Tom Selleck talked about this particular scene (please go to the 10 minute mark)
Please excuse my ignorance about this, but I can't help but notice the Band/Orchestra in the back. Was this a "live studio audience" production? More to the point, was the band recorded as a part of the finished product at the time of filming, or were they there just for cue's? I'm thinking it wouldn't fly to do it twice from a budget standpoint. Enjoyable thread BTW, I really enjoy behind-the-scene's stuff.
Thanks for Maureen McCormack picture.
There's a ton more on MeTV's website.
That last picture of the stagehand "admiring" Dawn Wells is Hilarious.
Isn't that just the Babaloo (or wherever Ricky worked) set?
"Do you expect me to talk, Goldfinger?"
"NO, Mr. Bond! I expect you to die!"
I would hd.the.ladder for her anytime.
Wow all great photos Glenn
Is that the Smothers Brothers in the Beverly Hillbillies picture?
