I love Stiller but Randolph nails it in the first clip. It works much better for me there.

 

The line "he chased after me with a baseball bat" also works better when you imagine Randolph doing it.

I remember this scene really well. Great choice. I choked up when I first saw it and now with a daughter of my own it got me even harder. Two great performances.

His best work was on F Troop. Played the part of a sincere, but bumbling Captain perfectly. Hardly in the Best category though.
