Out of the more than 1,300 videos I've put up on YouTube, I think this one has the most amazing playing. The lead guitarist was 15 at the time:

There are a lot of covers of this song, especially lately, but this is the best one:

I could blow this thread up with Band Geek covers, but I'll try to limit it to just this one (no promises):

Pre-Morphine, Mark Sandman had a hit with Treat Her Right in the summer of 1988 called "I Think She Likes Me"... three decades later, Finland's Them Bird Things cover it in revelatory fashion, giving a kinky twist by keeping the sex the same...

Last one for today. I'm not sure if this can be considered a cover, because I don't think there is a definitive version of this song, but it's so inspirational I had to include it (so castigate me if you must).
Susan Boyle-I Dreamed A Dream (from Les Miserables) on Britain's Got Talent-2009 (with the two toughest judges ever on the same panel):

I don't have a YouTube cover but I will take this opportunity to share a wonderful site I came across recently which is devoted exclusively to cover songs. Check it out, it's really great.

I enjoy watching close ups of musicians hands on a great tune. This dude gives me some insight as to the magic of Yngwie Malmsteen.
