I don't think this one has already been created.

And as I just purchased a focal Elegia closed-back pair of headphones let's open this thread.

    Moon 110LP v2 phono stage.
Ordered in December 2019 but won’t arrive until mid January 2020 so I’m putting it in this thread.

Maybe we should create a specific thread for this type of year-crossing purchase ...

Thus far, the Moon FRM-3 remote control.
Heavy, made from solid metal makes the whole experience of using my Moon kit much more pleasurable.
Bought from a very nice man in France via eBay for nowhere near what Moon charge.

After my purchase of the Technics 1210GR late last year, unless something breaks, I'm good. I hadn't bought any new gear for some years as I've been satisfied with what I have. However, I got the bug to add a second decent table and the 1210GR (and an AT VM95ML) was the choice.

Just purchased a used Zesto Andros 1.2 phono stage and am enjoying discovering what it can do.

    My target is:
    - Anthem STR pre and power amp
    - Focal Kanta 2,3 or Sopra 2
    - Parasound JC3+
    - Rega p10 + alpheta 3
    - A Focal Arche headphone amp

But it is highly unlikely this will all happen in 2020 except if I win the lottery...

Maybe the parasound or the power-amp will be in this year's list.

Sounds fantastic. It’s like I also got new speakers. Which are the next purchase on my list.

I know this isn’t audiophile territory, but I just bought and set up a Marantz SR 8012 AVR.

yes, I like surround sound, and the new ATMOS for music. I just finished the ATMOS version of Abbey Road.

I’m very pleased how much better my Bowers and Wilkins speakers sound with the Marantz. I finally have enough power to make the speakers really sing.

Got an octet of Winged C 6550s for my Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP (on loan from a friend). This year my only upgrade planned is another Dialogue Premium HP so I can mono block them.

Provided a little odd Paypal issue clears up, the best acquisition for 2020 will likely be a piece of software. It's the album I've hunted, in one very specific pressing, for four years.

But an upgraded DNA-125 which will hopefully be back to me in March will surely suffice for the hardware side of things.

Auralic Vega G1 was my 2020 purchase this year. Enjoying how nice it sounds and effortlessly it streams. Integrates with Roon and Tidal beautifully.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’m currently using Harbeth 30.2s and was thinking about adding dual T/5i or Dual T/9i.

Hoping to join the Technics club very soon. My 1210GR order is in and hopefully will get the turntable in place within the week. This will be my 1st piece of new audio equipment in nearly two years (other than the Nagaoka MP-110 I purchased last Summer to replace my worn out 2M Red). I think I'll be good for the rest of the year but I could see a DAC or Phono pre upgrade depending how business goes!

Bought a Topping DX7 Pro to replace my PS Audio DAC. I'm very happy with the purchase. I think clear and transparent are good descriptors.

I would love to hear how those sound compared to the NHT SuperOne 2.1's which are about the same physical size but with a 6.5" driver and 1" tweeter in an acoustic suspension box for about 10-15% of the price. It's just that NHT Spuper series speakers look like crap IMO with their plastic veneer finish.

That would be a fun comparison.
