Inspired by this thread: Best joke in the Yellow Submarine movie?

Shea Stadium, named after the Cuban guerrilla leader Che Stadium

He wore swimming trunks in the bath to stop him looking down on the unemployed.

Gags rather than actual jokes, but the guy who claims he taught the Rutles everything they knew and his wife denying it.

Just having Bill Murray playing Murray the K.

Oh, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young, Gifted and Black.

    I could go on...

I'd say the banana logo of Rutle Corp. swapping out one fruit/anatomical innuendo for another...

I thought the various people taking stuff from Rutle Corps was very funny, espesially when some guy just comes out and takes the microphone

This was first shown at a time when VCRs were not common, so for a long time, I had an incomplete recording made by putting my tape player next to the tv. When that line came on, I laughed, and every time I watch the DVD, I still hear myself laughing (the way you still anticipate hearing a scratch where your old LP was damaged even though you're listening to a CD).

All the sequences with the original Not Ready for Prime Time players are good. Radner's is perhaps the weakest (relying on the Gilligan Cut - TV Tropes ) but it's executed well. (There's no actual cut, which the trope page says is necessary.)

Eric Idle talking to the camera as the camera pulls further and further back and he has to step forward and eventually start running.

The greatest moment(s) has nothing to do with the Beatles.

Idle actually came up with the brilliant "camera pulls away from narrator" gag before the film was even planned. It's a masterpiece worthy of Keaton.

No jokes (too much truth) but really funny - everything Mick Jagger says.

I hate them, as well as the Jagger-Simon interviews. Radner's bit is especially bad.

Was going to post this one but knew it would already be up cause it's that great. :) "and Stig sued himself accidentally" still makes me LMAO! God, this was/is pure genius....brought us Spinal Tap and the Documentary Now! (which is some of the absolute funniest stuff ever!).
