If new threads are prefaced with "This weeks" - {fill in repeated topic}, then all is good.

It happens all the time across the internet.

Heck - aren't we about due for another cable thread in the hardware forum?

I agree with numerous prior mentions. Here are a few, top-of-my-mind, some from from albums aren't super popular:

Which Will-Lucinda Williams' loving live acoustic 2 AM performance of Nick Drakes finest concludes Sweet Old World.

Come on, Come on-Mary-Chapin Carpenter concludes the cd of the same name.

    Toad-Fresh Cream

If This is Goodbye-All the Roadrunning (Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris)

Verdi Cries-In My Tribe (10,000 Maniacs)

    Peaches & Diesel-Slowhand (Eric Clapton)

We're All Alone-Silk Degrees (Boz Scaggs)

    Plus many more...

Badfinger - Timeless from their final Apple album Ass. The song musically sounds like a storm, really unlike anything Pete Ham had done before. I may be reading too much into it but the song really feels dark and kind of gives you a hint to where Pete's mind was going. Great song to close an underrated album though.

I grew up with only the vinyl, and since it was labelled "Inside" and "Outside" instead of "Side 1" and "Side 2," I always thought the album began with She's Lost Control and ended with New Dawn Fades, and still can't help but think of it that way. New Dawn Fades, in my world, is a great last song.

Lots of great choices, I like my Forum members, will make the obvious choice with A Day in The Life, but I also really love Town Cryer on Imperial Bedroom by Elvis Costello, perfect closer on a just about perfect album

you have to love the one two punch of "The Load-Out" into "Stay" on Jackson Browne's Running On Empty. Perfect ending.
