I don't listen to music on YouTube frequently, in search of other things I came across with this. I don't know what criteria can be taken into account to qualify something as "the best perfomance", but this is just fantastic ...I allow myself to share it with you here, I hope you enjoy it Joe Strummer & The Latino Rockabilly War: Straight To Hell (Live 1988)
Ronald Isley with Burt Bacharach singing "This Guy's in Love with You". Really like his rich vocal on this tune.
IMO Stevie Wonder is always flawless, but this is such a powerful performance, given the context, and because AFAIK this is the only time he has performed "They Wont Go When I Go" live, I remember watching it live and I couldn't believe he was playing it, and HOW he played it, you could feel how heartbroken Stevie was, it really is an impressive performance
Just great. Thanks for sharing. Never seen by me. Anyone know what year this was from? Looks like from the 90s from what they are wearing.
It's from Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope, the benefit concert after the Indian Ocean tsunami on Christmas 2004. The concert was January 2005.
Stevie is one of those rare singers who sound just as good today as he did in his prime. Why he doesn't make a new album is beyond me.
