The follow up to 2017's Music To Draw To: Satalite which featured Emiliana Torrini this time featuring guest vocals from Trixie Whitley.

I was going to write a few words but the video below visualises the feel of the album pretty well

I've enjoyed listening to the new Jessica Pratt album so much that I've bought a ticket to see her live in London next month.

And there are archival albums being released, too. This is quite beautiful and transporting — a Brazilian post-Bossa Nova album that has been re-mastered and pressed on 180 gram.

This album is very good. Not quite as dynamite as the Desaparecidos albums. But, Conor is always improving somehow and Phoebe has a certain indescribable quality.

The 3 songs on youtube from These New Puritans new album sound fantastic. Been a long wait but sounds like it'll be worth it.

I agree! I just discovered them recently, but I think their previous album may just be my favorite album made by anyone this decade. The new one seems like it will be very different, but still managing to combine beauty with adventurousness. Probably my most anticipated release of the year.

The new one from Tedeschi Trucks Band entitled Signs is out now. It is predictably wonderful. They are such a great band. Makes my soul feel so good.

"Fever", the new - fourth - album from Belgiums Balthazar, is surprisingly good. The side projects by Jinte Deprez (J.Bernardt) and Maarten Devoldere (Warhaus) have taken nothing away but actually added to the band sound. Slightly more funky and quite nocturnal with a nice sounding vinyl edition on black and limited white wax. Here's the album opening title track:

Just ordered the LP, I’ve never actually listened to EST before but this was excellent. Going to have to fix that soon.

My personal favourites are the Live in Hamburg set and Tuesday Wonderland stand out for me. The Wesseltoft stuff is also worth checking out - it tends to be on the more electronic end of things (excluding some solo piano stuff).

+1 for the new swervedriver record that was mentioned above. Great songs, great album! Impressive.

Giving many play-throughs to latest from Cass McCombs and also

White Fence "I have to feed Larry's Hawk". Kind of stripped down almost singer-songwriter vibe, with just enough weird and a left turn at Steve Reichville for the end.
