I was just about to post this. Is there not one in Siva as well? And Geek USA?

Pretty sure it was the Tom Berenger character, not Eddie.

Plenty of great pauses in live shows. There is a false ending in Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad on the Derek and the Dominos Live at the Fillmore.
And in Dark Star from 9/19/70 there is a silence that seems to last forever (in a good way).

"All I Really Want" by Alanis Morisette. She even talks it up.

Why are you so petrified of silence
    Here can you handle this?

Did you think about your bills, your ex, your deadlines
Or when you think you're gonna die

Are you sure? I really thought I read it was a mistake in the mixing process that was left in after they liked it.

That's my understanding of the quote from the video: "It was a mistaken punch" [in of the vocals in the mixing process].

That's right. Eddie was telling the piano player what to do. "Toby Tyler" ;) knew the term, because he was the words man.

I was totally intrigued by this single as a child. From the cover to the music itself.I'll talk about the a-side somewhere else (this song is so popular it's seen as wallpaper in a way but I think it sounds so peculiar...) and there was also this ambitious and very different b-side (which just happened to be a cut from their previous LP) almost sounding like prog. The song ends and then a reprise happens, with a fade-in. On the actual record, it looked like two tracks were on the side...and I loved that.
